Los Angeles Part One

So it's early a.m., Friday and Newark airport is quiet.  Now, quiet is good in terms of amount of airport traffic and flight delays.  But quiet is not good if you are looking for a bloody mary to kick off your vacation.  Or, at least, to help you forget that we missed our flight do to over sleeping.  Running with the notion that the president's club is a non stop party and we may be able to wet our whistles, we make our way through the creepy steps and beyond the creepy door.  Once we were inside, it looked like a hotel lobby.  Check in counter, coffee maker, annoying dudes in suits.  We paid our fee, eh hem, and proceeded to the bar, only to find that the President's Club adheres to the same rules as the airpot.  No booze til 9 am.  So now we are already over budget for the trip and all we have to show for it is a couple cups of coffee and some bagels.  But I did get this nice cubical to work from for a couple hours.  More later....
